Dr. Angel Knoverek

Dr. Angel Knoverek wears many hats—and wears them with heart. As a counselor educator, leader, advocate, trainer, business owner, and seasoned clinician in private practice, she brings over 25 years of experience to the art and science of healing. Her work spans generations, supporting children, adolescents, and adults through life’s most challenging moments with compassion, clarity, and clinical excellence.

Angel is trained extensively in evidence-based and trauma-informed interventions, with a particular expertise in helping survivors of complex trauma. Whether guiding someone through anxiety, grief, relationship struggles, or major life transitions, she helps clients reconnect with their inner strength and move toward the life they envision for themselves and those they love. Her therapeutic style is warm and affirming, grounded in contemporary knowledge and a deep respect for each person’s journey.

Beyond the office, Angel’s love language is quality time. She finds joy in lakeside afternoons with family and friends, getting lost in a good fiction novel, and sharing stories around a late-night bonfire. Her personal warmth and professional wisdom create a space where clients feel truly seen—and empowered to live their best lives.
